Try using baking powder sleltzer poly clear brush and hard. If it really bad try, olive oil and vinegar, then repeat step 1

If a smooth, flat stone masonry will work in marble. You can buy in any hardware store or woodworking. Is this a rough surface with a wire brush may work. You can also request that for you.
